Its expertise and productions assist Perth people in dealing with the harsh realities of their naturally snow-free environment, including extreme weather events such as pleasant sunshine, occasional rain, light breeze, and severe lack of snow.
Through its Perth Snow Report featuring regular forecasts, alerts, snow monitoring and advice spanning the City of Perth region, the One Word For Snow project provides one of the most ridiculous and least useful services of meteorological interest in the state.
The One Word For Snow project contributes to Perth’s social, cultural and environmental snow goals by providing absurdly site-specific observational, meteorological, and whimsical services and by undertaking research into performative satire and environment related issues in support of its operations and services.
